Washington County, PA – August 5, 2025—Leadership Washington County (LWC) is delighted to announce that applications are open for the 2025–2026 Signature Leadership Program, a transformative experience designed to develop and connect leaders. This program is open to individuals at all career stages, ensuring that everyone, whether serving publicly, leading in the community, or making an impact behind the scenes, can grow as a leader and make a difference.
The Signature Leadership Program equips participants with a deep understanding of community issues, fosters professional growth, and cultivates meaningful relationships with peers across industries. Through immersive learning days, behind-the-scenes tours, and thought-provoking discussions, graduates are prepared to lead with insight and make a lasting impact in their organizations and communities.
This year, LWC is proud to partner with the South West Regional Chamber of Commerce in a shared commitment to strengthening leadership and fostering growth throughout our communities. Together, both organizations will promote opportunities that inspire, connect, and equip leaders to make a lasting impact in Washington County and beyond, amplifying initiatives, expanding awareness of leadership development programs, and building a stronger network of leaders prepared to shape the future of the region.
“Through Leadership Washington County, I have learned to lean into my strengths and believe in myself as a valuable community partner and leader.” said Christie Johnson, Operation Manager, Ignite Business Incubator, Washington & Jefferson College, and past participant.
Another alumna, Nina Pompeani, shared, “LWC led me to understand my strengths and how to leverage my skills to be an effective and impactful leader. I have learned so much about myself, how to create meaning in my work, and how to better serve my community.”
